Florida law requires that stores, restaurants and business property owners maintain the premises in a safe and prudent manner to prevent harm to their customers and those whom they invite to come upon the premises. Often the most difficult cases to win are  the slip/trip and fall type accidents. Property owners will quickly clean up the spill, fix the damaged floor or fill the hole in the ground responsible for the accident without taking any pictures first. The store claimed that they inspected the aisles every 15 minutes to keep them clear of debris on the ground. Our investigators video taped the aisles for (4) four hours demonstrating that never once did any store employee inspect or clean up the debris in the aisles. Once the attorneys for the store saw our tape, they settled this case for a large cash amount.
